Good Morning World!
It's been awhile since I've been able to post. Many things have happened since my last round of "eloquence". I've taken over a printing and office supply business, we've had our fifth and final baby - a girl; Jael and all this meanwhile still endeavoring to keep up with all my other duties as a father, pastor and friend. Well enough about this past year or so. Let's get to this mornings point.
As a Pastor and Preacher I need to have a certain amount of inspiration, Word of God, prayer and worship flowing both INTO me and OUT of me everyday. If this doesn't happen things can get dry, stale and I can get quite ornery! It's the way it has to be. In order for something great to come out something great must first come in.
Again to the point, because this is of course not about me. Every once in a while I will take some times and search the world wide web for something inspirational such as a devotional video, song or blog that will help lift me up. The amazing thing that I've found; there isn't very much out there that is consistently available! Sure you can find devotionals like this one all over the place, but I have found that after reading or listening to them that they are OLD! When I am thirsty I don't want to drink old stale water. No! I want to drink cold fresh refreshing water. The same goes for my spiritual life. If I want to be fresh and current then I must partake of inspiration that is fresh and current.
I am sorry that I haven't been current this past year, and no amount of excuses will make up for the fact that those of you who read this blog regularly haven't had a fresh word in a while. So I will commit to bringing a fresh word on a regular basis. Thank you for your patience and God bless you!
Yours for the work of Christ,
Pastor Fred
